Today's devotion, Lord, protect us from spiritual malnourishment. Spiritual malnourishment is a condition of spiritual weakness resulting from a lack of proper spiritual food, such as prayer, scripture and worship. Spiritual malnourishment can cause spiritual malfunction.

Today's Devotion, Obedience to God comes with a cost. Obedience to God might cost you friendships. It may cost you to remove from a place where you are comfortable and put you at a place where you are uncomfortable.

I have seen a friend walk away from something that they thought was bad only to experience a situation that was worse. There are times that we will have to do a self-assessment so that we can identify our weakness and ask God to help us to fix it so that it doesn't distract us and take us further from Him.

Overcoming guilt isn't easy especially when you find yourself in uncomfortable situations like hurting someone who doesn't deserve it, taking something without asking permission or lying to someone who trusts you and would never question your integrity.

Today's Devotion, Lord, help our children that are being abused. Broken relationships can create broken children because many times the anger of the parents end up being taken out on them. You cannot expect to raise children who are calm and gentle if you are not.
