Lord, Help Our Children That Are Being Abused

Today's Devotion, Lord, help our children that are being abused. Broken relationships can create broken children because many times the anger of the parents end up being taken out on them. You cannot expect to raise children who are calm and gentle if you are not.

You cannot expect a child to know what is love if you are always taking out your anger on them. You cannot choose your partner and when you have a child with them you are constantly chastising the child and you keep telling them that they are just like their father or their mother in a negative way. Your bad decision should never be their problem.

Decisions made without God can lead to your biggest regret. Every child is born with two parents and the person who you thought would have been a perfect father or a perfect mother ended up being a perfect disappointment. Some people have a way of showing their true colors after you have a child with them.

Being a good father starts with respecting your child's mother but a donor will always be disrespectful to their partner especially when their true colors are exposed. Regardless of how bad your situation may be God can fix it. He will send spiritual fathers or spiritual mothers in your life to show your children love and lead them closer to him.

Do not abuse God's children because there is no excuse for child abuse. In Matthew 18 verse 6 it is written But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me it were better for him that a millstone were hanged around his neck and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. And in Proverbs 29 verse 15 it is written The rod and reproof give wisdom but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.

Heavenly Father Our children are being attacked by the forces of evil and we are in need of your immediate attention to remove the spirit of suicide from their minds because they are being abused and instead of them getting love some of them are getting anger from frustrated parents. Lord, we ask you to send your angels around them and we thank you for faithfully watching them everyday. Protect those who are being bullied in schools and those who are feeling unloved and unwanted by their parents.

Lord, help the single parents who are facing the financial burden and other challenges by themselves. Lord, comfort them so that they can take their burdens to you in prayer instead of abusing their children.

All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen
