Today's Devotion, God doesn't tolerate idleness and laziness. Jealousy sometimes comes with jokes but compliments that comes from a clean heart will never have an ulterior motive. An idle mind is the devil's workshop and when idle hands are working with an idle tongue it can create more damage than you can imagine.

Today's Devotion, Beware of distractions. Knowing God's word is good, but living by God's word is better, because knowing the word and not living by the word will never put us on the road to righteousness. In Matthew 7 verse 13 to 14 it is written, Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

Today's Devotion, The importance of having a relationship with God. The best thing that we can do as believers is having a relationship with God. He knows when we are opportunistic and He knows when we are righteous.

Today's devotion, Lord help us with our dreams. Without proper application, correct interpretation is difficult. For us to determine what a dream is about, there are some things that may apply to us and there are some things that may apply to someone else.

Today's devotion. Prayer is a powerful tool. Never underestimate the power of prayer. It is the key that opens the door for us to have a conversation with God. In James 5 verse 16 it is written, Confess your faults one to another, and pray for another, that ye may be healed.

Today's Devotion, God doesn't tolerate malice. Is it acceptable, if we have internal differences within our family, our people, in our church, or our workplace, that we should malice someone? In Job 1 verse 6-12 it is written, One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them.

Today's Devotion, Challenges come in different ways. Consequence teaches us unforgettable lessons as soon as regret comes into the picture. The love that makes us happy can give us sleepless nights once it is given to the wrong person because the person who loves too much is the one who gets hurt the most.

Today's Devotion, God allows suffering for a reason. In Proverbs 19 verse 19 it is written, a hot-tempered person must pay the penalty, rescue them, and you will have to do it again. If you have a family member or a close friend who is hot-tempered and they are lacking in self-control, they are liable to make the same foolish choices when they are put under pressure.

Today's Devotion, Lord, help us to compare ourselves with the things that please you. I recently saw a message that a pastor said while preaching to the congregation. His comment was, If you can trust a puzzle company to make sure every piece is in the box to complete the puzzle, then why can't you trust God that every piece of your life is there for a reason?

Today's devotion, Overstepping Spiritual and Physical Boundaries. Overstepping our spiritual boundaries can have serious consequences. God would never give you a spiritual assignment that you are not prepared for, even though you may believe that you are capable of doing it.

Today's Devotion, Lord, help us not to be fooled by changes. The things in life that we want to accomplish require sacrifices. A seed that is planted cannot develop without water because without water it will never bear fruit.

Today's Devotion, Lord, help us to control our temper. Our temper is what gets most of us into trouble, and it's our pride that keeps us there. Many times because of our pride, we do not apologize because of the problem our temper may get us in.

Today's Devotion, Beware of Hidden Jealousy. Hidden jealousy is a hidden sin. No matter how good you may hide it, it cannot be concealed forever. Private business doesn't need public attention and sometimes we are responsible for saying too much to the wrong people.
