Stop ignoring your dreams
Today's Devotion, Stop ignoring your dreams. If you should ever dream that you are surrounded by garbage, it has several meanings. It may be referring to corruption, hell, evil, filth, vile, rejection. It may be that you might be carrying too much worries, past regrets, or unprocessed anger.
It may be referring to toxic environments. Being trapped by trash often points to a stressful job, a bad relationship, or a difficult living situation. In Mark 9 verse 47 to 48 it is written, And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out.
It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell where the worms that eat them do not die and the fire is not quenched. If you should ever dream that you are in fog, it means confusion, unsure, obscurity, clouded issues or thoughts. Driving in the fog and having fog inside a house has different meanings.
One may be referring to uncertainty and the other may be referring to arguments, stress, or problems within your family. In Job 10 verse 15 it is written, If I be wicked, who unto me? And if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head? I am full of confusion. Therefore, see thou mine affliction.
In Hosea 6 verse 4 it is written, O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? For your goodness is as morning cloud and as the early dew it goeth away. If you should dream that you are at a crossroads, it refers to making a decision, confusion, job change, choice, career change. Making a right turn refers to a natural change and making a left turn refers to a spiritual change.
In Luke 18 verse 18, 22 and 23 it is written, A certain ruler asked him, Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life? When Jesus heard this, he said to him, You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me.
When he heard this, he became very sad because he was very wealthy. Heavenly Father, help us not to turn away from our dreams because they may be warning signs that we end up ignoring. Help us, Lord, to focus on them and pray for clarity, and through this we will get understanding.
I thank you for the gift of interpretation and clarity so that I can help others. Grant me discernment to test every dream against your word. Remove any confusion, fear, or interference, and fill my mind with your peace and truth.
