Today's Devotion, Lord, protect your children. Even though we are not birds, if God didn't clip the wings of some of us, many would have flown straight into hell, all because they love being around people who are known to be a bad influence. The company that you keep can determine where you sleep.

Today's Devotion, Leave it to God to prepare your table. Don't let your loyalty become your slavery, because being obligated to the wrong person may end up being a life sentence. When God has selected you and has prepared a table for you, no man can destroy it.

Today's Devotion, Our protection sometimes comes from our separation. The Lord works in mysterious ways and in order for us to trust him we must believe in why he does things, when he does things, and how he does things. In Romans 11 verse 33 it is written, O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and how unscrutable his ways! God will separate you before he elevates you.

Today's Devotion, God will delay us to protect us, but the devil will delay us to destroy us. Once you allow God to take full control of your life, you must trust him even when things seem to stop when you want it to go. Sometimes God delays are designed for your protection.

Today's Devotion, The Lord will guide and protect us. There will be times in life when we find ourselves in situations where we are in need of guidance.

Today's Devotion, Lord, help us to focus on the truth. One thing that I have learned when it comes to speaking God's word is that people who tell the truth of God's word will always be hated, even when they find the Bible verses to confirm what they're saying. There's a big difference in hearing what you want to hear instead of hearing what you need to hear.

We live in a world where people have become heartless and innocent people have been killed because some countries and families see war and violence as ways to resolve their conflicts. Some of us no longer solve our problems through praying, they solve it by contract killing and jungle justice.

Today's Devotion, Beware of the spirit of obsession. Obsessive people can be very controlling. They are characterized as being persistent, intrusive, and disruptive.

Today's Devotion, Prayer for children doing their exams. Heavenly Father, we pray for the parents and the dedicated teachers who have invested their time and effort in educating their children in order to prepare them for their exams. Lord, we pray for single parents and grandparents who have done their best to ensure that they stay focused and show tough love to keep them away from bad company.

Today's Devotion, Lord, help us to stop doing the wrong things. Lord let us be wise in making our decisions, regardless of how difficult things may seem. Let us stop worrying about the things we cannot change.

Today's Devotion, Lord, protect us from shame and embarrassment. Secret sin holds the keys to shame, embarrassment, and guilt. Even when God forgives you of your sins, the devil will always keep reminding you of them. Guilt often motivates us to apologize or make amends.

I told the manager to take everything from my credit card as I didn't have any cash on me at the time. I eventually had a difference with the worker who I was sent to and he showed me his fingers in the shape of a gun.

Giving help to someone should come with no strings attached, because once kindness comes with strings attached, it may come in the form of obligation, manipulation, or hidden agenda. Anything that is hidden is not genuine, and anything that is not genuine is not of God.
