Lord, Protect Us from the Wicked

Today's devotion, Lord, protect us from the wicked. If you were to get a taste of your own medicine, would you enjoy it or would you despise it? There are people who look forward for the hurricane because they use the opportunity to break into other people's business establishment and steal their goods and their money. Some of these small businesses are not insured and even though they have lost a lot, they have to pay their creditors and all the expenses that they have incurred.
Woe be unto those who look forward to the hurricane to rob and destroy other people's business and also those who benefit from it because God's wrath will fall upon you like the rain that is falling from the hurricane. You will never understand the damage you did until the same thing is done to you. One of the worst things that you can do to someone is to put them in unnecessary debt and to deprive them of being able to take care of their family.
God is good but he isn't always nice all because of the wickedness that we have done to our brothers and sisters all because of jealousy and greed. In Romans 1 verse 18 to 19 it is written, For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness because what may be known of God is manifest in them for God has shown it to them. And in Zephaniah 1 verse 18 it is written, Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the Lord's wrath but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy for he will make speedy riddance of all those who dwell in the land heavenly Father.
We ask for your immediate intervention of those who are facing bankruptcy because of robbers, covetous and unscrupulous people. May what they have stolen disappear from them like ice in a fiery furnace in Jesus' name. Lord help those who have been forced to evacuate their house with all their belongings and send forth your warring angels to send brimstone and fire upon those who have plans to steal and destroy their property in Jesus' name.
Lord help our farmers and all those who have been affected so that they can recover speedily with testimonies of your goodness and your grace.
All these we ask in Jesus' name. Amen.
