Today's Devotion, Fight your battles with God's word. You don't fight spiritual battles with emotions, you fight it with God's word. The word of God is your sword, and if you don't know his words, you are in for a rude awakening.
Victory begins when your mouth agrees with God's truth. God has given you authority over the enemy. In Luke 10 verse 19 it is written, I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome all the power of the enemy.
Do not worry about how intense the battle may be, because when the enemy comes in like a flood, you will not drown. In Isaiah 59 verse 19 it is written, when the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. God's word has trained us for the war.
This is why it is important to have faith. In Psalm 144 verse 1 it is written, praise be to the Lord my rock who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle, heavenly father. The enemy's aim is to kill, steal, and destroy.
We will not fear the plans of the enemy. In Matthew 16 verse 19 it is written, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Lord I bind every demonic activity and loose divine help right now in Jesus name.
Lord remove timidness from us, and replace it with boldness. In first John 4 verse 4 it is written, greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Lord thank you for reminding us that we carry a greater power.
Let the enemy bow now in Jesus name. In Deuteronomy 28 verse 7 it is written, the Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. God let every enemy scatter in seven directions with immediate effect in Jesus name.
Thank you Lord for not leaving us on our own. In Exodus 14 verse 14 it is written, the Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still. Lord regardless of how intense our battle may seem to be, we will end up being victorious.
All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
