Lord, Take Full Control of Our Situation

Today's devotion, Lord, take full control of our situation. Our storms have a way of removing what we had, and it also exposes the genuine friends that we have. In my spiritual growth and development, I had a problem in accepting this Bible verse, Romans 8 verse 28, and it is written.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. The word all really hit a nerve that I was struggling to accept. This is what God did in order for me to understand.
He put me in several storms, and at the end of these storms, there was a blessing attached to it. This caused me to complain less, worry less, and thank him more, even though I didn't know how he would fix it. Doubters and unbelievers will have a challenge in trusting God, but true believers will ride out the storm because of their faith.
Here is another Bible verse with the word all in it, Proverbs 3 verse 5, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. My brothers and sisters in Christ, the worst people to have around you when you are overcoming your storm are negative minded people, greedy people, and ungrateful people. Negative minded people will let you feel hopeless, and they may cause you to harbor suicidal thoughts.
Greedy people will be around you to take what they can get from you, and the ungrateful people are those who you were there for during their challenges, but they will ignore you when you are going through yours. Heavenly Father, I pray for those who are feeling hopeless, the families that have lost everything, the sick, the homeless, and those who are suffering in different ways. Lord, we are in need of your goodness and mercy.
Lord, remove the suicidal thoughts from those who are going through depression. Lord, we pray for those who are injured, who have lost loved ones. You did not send your son to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Lord, help us to use our situation to walk away from our sinful lifestyle and commit our lives to you. We thank you for your protection. You are our rock and our shield and shelter.
Have mercy upon us and help us to find refuge in you as we seek to rebuild our lives and our community.
All these we ask in Jesus' name, amen.
