Today's Devotion, Beware of the Five D's. Beware of the five D's that can take you away from God. They are doubt, distraction, division, discouragement, and depression. The devil has a way of using all of these to his advantage.

Today's Devotion, Prayer for Today. Heavenly Father, Today I choose not to worry about the things that I cannot control. Thank you for opening my eyes to see another day because there are people who didn't wake up this morning.

Today's Devotion, Avoid the things that God doesn't approve. We cannot love doing evil and expect that God is going to love us. In Proverbs 8 verse 13 it is written, The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way and the froward mouth do I hate.

Today's Devotion, Never underestimate silence. Silence is a powerful tool for those who know how to use it, because when silence speaks it can never be misunderstood. Knowing when to be silent is an art that not many people can comprehend.

Today's Devotion, Beware of Desperation. In moments of desperation, we may be forced to make decisions. Some may work for us and some may work against us. There are times when desperation can pull us to God, and there are times that the satisfaction that we get from desperation can pull us away from God.

Today's Devotion, God is our problem solver. Heavenly Father, teach us to get into the habit of praying for everything because if we do not pray for everything, we may end up worrying about many things. Even if it may seem impossible to us, it will not be impossible to you. You specialize in turning impossible situations around from parting seas to bringing dead things to life.

Today's Devotion, God Takes Every Word Seriously. God takes every word seriously and this is why when God gives you a new beginning, don't repeat the old mistakes. We sometimes allow anger to lead us to speak words that we will end up regretting. If you are not able to take control of your anger, the devil will take advantage of it.

Today's Devotion, Beware of the Spirit of Jezebel. We can manipulate people, but we cannot manipulate God. We can control people, but we cannot control God. A manipulative and controlling personality are characteristics of the Jezebel spirit.

Today's Devotion, Lord, protect us from curses. Even though there are many different types of curses, the most common ones are generational curses and these are passed down through family lines. There is also earned curses and this is self-inflicted.

Today's Devotion, God's word will not change because of our opinion. Beware of spending too much time on matters of too little importance. There are times when our opinion matters and there will be times that our opinion won't.

Today's Devotion, Lord, help us to understand our dream. If you should have a dream about an automobile accident, it may have several meanings. Were you driving? Were you a passenger or did you witness the crash? Has different meanings.

Today's Devotion, Lord, we need your intervention in broken relationships. A relationship that was never meant to be, will never give you peace of mind, but it will always give you stressful days and sleepless nights. Quarreling and complaining will be frequent, but showing love and affection will be rare.

Today's Devotion, Use God's Words to Destroy the Plans of the Enemy. In Isaiah 59 verse 19 it is written, When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Lord, give us wisdom and strategies so that we can destroy the plans of the enemy, because you have done it before and you can do it again.
