Today's Devotion, Beware of the Spirit of Jezebel. We can manipulate people, but we cannot manipulate God. We can control people, but we cannot control God. A manipulative and controlling personality are characteristics of the Jezebel spirit.

One thing I know about God is that he cannot and will not be manipulated or controlled. Do not think that you can turn away from sin whenever you please, all because it will be convenient for you to go on fasting so that you can receive a blessing from God. He knows your heart and your selfish intentions.

The Jezebel spirit is not only found in women, it is also found in men. They will flatter you and then undermine you. They refuse to accept guilt.

They are ungrateful. They use lust to control, and they falsely accuse the godly. In Revelation 2 verse 20 it is written, Nevertheless, I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce my servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

Heavenly Father, we come against the spirit of Jezebel in 1 Kings 21 verse 23 it is written, And also concerning Jezebel, the Lord says, Dogs will devour Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel. I rebuke and bind the spirit of witchcraft, lust, seduction, intimidation, idolatry, and whoredom connected to Jezebel. I rebuke all spirits of false teachings, so that those who are spiritually blind will not end up doing the things that are wrong and believe that it is right.

I cut off the assignment of Jezebel against the ministers of God. Father, expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy that tries to build confusion, destruction, and division. I declare the spirit has no place in my life.

I cover myself with the blood of Jesus. Lord, thank you for giving me the spirit of discernment, so that I will not be deceived.
