Lord, Control Our Finances

Today's Devotion, Lord, Control Our Finances. The Lord moves in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform. Joseph came out of the pit, Daniel came out of the lion's den, and Jonah came out of the whale. If God took them out of their predicament, he will take you out of yours.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, If you are unable to control your finances, give it to God and he will fix it. In 2 Corinthians 8 verse 9 it is written, For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. Financial indiscipline can make a bad situation worse when we want to do things our way and not God's way.

God doesn't endorse gambling, and he will never endorse anything that the devil approves. In 1 Samuel 2 verse 7 it is written, The Lord sends poverty and wealth, he humbles and he exalts. Heavenly Father, we come before you with thanksgiving and praise.

In Philippians 4 verse 19 it is written, But my God shall supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Lord help us to focus on the things that are important and remove the things that aren't. Help us to spend our time wisely and remove laziness and lack of interest from the things that are important.

In Ecclesiastes 9 verse 10 it is written, Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. For in the realm of the dead where you are going, there is neither working, nor planning, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, Lord, we pray for those who are burdened with debt and outstanding bills, unemployment, sickness, and other things that have depleted their finances. Lord, regardless of their situation, you are our provider and they will not become beggars.

In Psalm 37 verse 25 it is written, I have been young and now I am old, yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Every addiction that is sent by the devil to deprive your people of their finances be destroyed with the blood of Jesus. In Deuteronomy 8 verse 18 it is written, But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
