God's word will not change because of our opinion

Today's Devotion, God's word will not change because of our opinion. Beware of spending too much time on matters of too little importance. There are times when our opinion matters and there will be times that our opinion won't.
We are all accountable to God for our opinion that does not align with his word because our opinion is no substitute for the truth of God's word. In Ephesians 5 verse 15 it is written, Walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. The opinion of the fool will never change the decision of the wise.
Wrong will always be wrong, even when the majority agrees with it. And the truth will always be the truth, even when you alone are doing it. In Jeremiah 6 verse 16 it is written, Stand at the crossroads and look.
Ask for the ancient path. Ask where the good way is and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, we will not walk in it.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, God asks his people to stop rushing and honestly assess where your current choices are leading. Once your choices are not his choices, you are heading on the road of destruction. The promise of God will not change especially when we align our lives with his principles.
Heavenly Father, help us not to be more focused in fitting into the pleasures of the world than to be committed and obedient to give our lives to you. Lord, many of us want eternal life, but some do not want to follow Jesus because of the trials and tribulations that is a part of the journey. Help us not to do things our way and to do things your way.
Help us to understand obedience produces faith that sets our hope on your mercy. In 1 John 1 verse 9 it is written, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Help us to focus on what you want us to do so that we do not end up in a place where you do not want us to be.
All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
