God Takes Every Word Seriously

Today's Devotion, God Takes Every Word Seriously. God takes every word seriously and this is why when God gives you a new beginning, don't repeat the old mistakes. We sometimes allow anger to lead us to speak words that we will end up regretting. If you are not able to take control of your anger, the devil will take advantage of it.

God will give you the strength to get through any situation, but the devil will try and deceive you in many situations. Once you fill your mind with God's word, you will have no room for the devil's lies. Not because God is silent, that doesn't mean he is absent.

Do not let your impatience lead you to say things that you may end up regretting, because God takes every word seriously. In Matthew 12 verse 36 it is written, But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. Never be deceived.

God sees everything we do. People can fool people, but not God. People who cannot control their emotions or their tongues will ruin their relationship with God.

In 1 Peter 3 verse 7 it is written, Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. Heavenly Father, help us to be disciplined enough to be brothers and sisters in Christ, to live by your godly morals and values, so that we can change from our ungodly ways. In Isaiah 6 verse 5 it is written, And I said, Woe is me, for I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips.

For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Lord, we thank you for the changes that you are making in our lives, so we will not allow our actions and our words to pull us away from the ways that you want us to live by. Take full control of our lives, so that we will continue to live by your standards.

All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
