Prayer for Today

Today's Devotion, Prayer for Today. Heavenly Father, Today I choose not to worry about the things that I cannot control. Thank you for opening my eyes to see another day because there are people who didn't wake up this morning.
In Psalm 103 verse 1 to 4 it is written Praise the Lord my soul all my inmost being praise his holy name praise the Lord my soul and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases who redeems your life from the pit and crown you with love and compassion merciful God you are my shield and my strong tower when I am feeling depressed and everyone seems to be turning against me you are there help me to walk by your word and not by my feelings help me to avoid doing the things that are pleasing to me and give me the wisdom to do the things that are pleasing to you.
In Colossians 3 verse 15 to 17 it is written let the peace of Christ rule in your heart since as members of one body you were called to peace and be thankful let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit singing to God with gratitude in your heart and whatever you do whether in word or deed do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father through him Lord there is nothing that we can hide from you remove the burdens that come in the form of malice unforgiveness and hatred against those who have done us wrong wash me clean fill me with your peace and help me to extend the same grace to those who have done me wrong because we do not know when death will come and we must live our life right in your eyes so that whenever it comes we are spiritually prepared.
In Matthew 6 verse 14 to 15 it is written for if you forgive other people when they sin against you your Heavenly Father will also forgive you but if you do not forgive others their sins your Father will not forgive your sins Lord we thank you and we glorify you.
All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
