Today's Devotion, Lord, help us to understand our dream. If you should have a dream about an automobile accident, it may have several meanings. Were you driving? Were you a passenger or did you witness the crash? Has different meanings.
It can mean loss of control, confrontation, strife, mistake, contention or conflict. This may be a sign that you have to slow down and rearrange the situation that you are in. It can have a positive or a negative meaning.
The first thing that you should do is to pray and ask God for his protection from harm and bind up every incident and accident. Do not ignore this dream because it may become a reality. In Psalm 34 verse 19 it is written, The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
And in Nahum 2 verse 4 it is written, The chariots storm through the streets, rushing back and forth through the squares. They look like flaming torches. They dart about like lightning.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, do not procrastinate and put aside praying. Because the devil will distract you so that he can destroy you by putting your mind on something else. In Psalm 121 verse 7 to 8 it is written, The Lord will keep you from all harm.
He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore. If you should dream that you are driving and you have to hold onto your brakes, it may be that you should stop.
It may be caused by hindrance or it may be that you should wait. Having brake failure in your dream means lack of control, a bad habit, no resistance to temptation. In 2 Peter 2 verse 14 it is written, With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning.
They seduce the unstable. They are experts in greed and accursed broad. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the dreams that you have allowed us to have when we are sleeping.
Help us to understand their meaning and deliver us from distressing dreams and let us have the habit of praying as soon as we awake. Please grant us a clear mind and have a receptive heart to understand your guidance so that our dreams will have us to pray more and worry less.
