Today's Devotion, Prayer for our hedge of protection. Heavenly Father, I lift up my eyes to you, the maker of heaven and earth. You are my help, my shield, and my ever-present protection.
God I call upon you for your divine intervention. I thank you for surrounding me, my family, and my home with a hedge of protection that shields me from harm, danger, and negative influences. Expose and remove every spiritual pickpockets whose aim is to steal my ideas, my joy, my opportunities, and my finances.
Lord, we know that the enemy is deceptive and his agenda is to kill, steal, and destroy. I call upon you to send your spiritual guards to destroy their plans. In Psalm 91 verse 1 it is written, He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Powerful God, we will not take the plans of the enemy for granted. In Psalm 108 verse 12 to 13 it is written, Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down the enemy.
Holy Spirit, fill me with your power and guidance. Help me to walk in alignment with your will. In Hebrews 4 verse 12 it is written, For the word of God is alive, sharper than any double-edged sword.
It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Lord, we know that when the enemy cannot penetrate the shield of protection, they will try to create misunderstandings against family and anyone in your circle.
Help us to love, understand and respect one another as you love us. Lord, we pray for those who have legal challenges and have used iniquity against the righteous. Guide us through their trials and protect them from any form of injustice or harm.
Thank you for exposing those who are trying to influence us to make wrong decisions because they have an agenda. Keep us from pitfalls and malicious influences that could hinder our progress. Doctor God, we pray for those who are sick because of evildoers.
Shield them from further harm and give them strength to endure. In Proverbs 3 verse 33 it is written, The Lord's curse is on the hosts of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. Heavenly Father, give us the wisdom not to yield to temptation because of desperation, because the heart is willing but the flesh is weak.
Give us a way of escape when we are faced with tempting situations. In Ephesians 6 verse 11 it is written, Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
