Today's Devotion, Lord, Protect Us from Injustice. We live in a world that is full of injustice, even though the God of the universe is a just God. In Deuteronomy 32 verse 4 it is written, He is the Rock. His works are perfect, and all His ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He. And in Job 36 verse 11 it is written, If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures. We serve a God who is always keeping His promises.
He is gracious in all He does. If we want peace, we must ensure that we are not partakers in injustice. If you see something that is not right, not fair, not just, you have a moral obligation to do something about it.
If God does not allow certain things to happen to us, we will never see the importance in trying to resolve it. He who feels it knows it, and he who has been through it can share many testimonies about it. We must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, always make decisions that are pleasing to God. Remember, life does not give us second chances, and we must never turn a blind eye to injustice. The dead cannot cry out for justice.
It is a responsibility of the living to do so for them. Heavenly Father, the just and the unjust benefit from Your goodness, and You are not a selfish God in Your ways. Let us think more about sharing and caring and stop promoting songs about scamming, and also glorifying the death of those who inform to the relevant authorities about criminal activities.
Help us, Lord, to always see the importance in taking the side of righteousness so that we will never join forces with wickedness. Lord, have mercy on us because our children are being misled to see what is wrong and believe that it is right. Help us to fight injustice in the right way, and may we continue to look to You for solutions.
All these we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.
