God's Judgment

Today's Devotion, God's Judgment. In the court of heaven, there will be no lawyers, no jurors, and no judges. We will all have our day in court. Man's laws cannot make mortal what God has declared immortal.

Even if a sin is legalized, it's still a sin in the eyes of God. The sins that were hidden secretly for years will be exposed by Him. The sins that gave you wealth and happiness are the sins that will send you to hell.

We are very good lawyers for our own mistakes and very good judges of the mistakes of others. God is a righteous judge, and those who lived their lives righteously will look forward to the verdict. But those who lived an unrighteous life will have to deal with the consequences of their actions.

The wealthy will not be exempted. God is no respecter of anyone. He judges righteously.

It is not what people think of you, but what God knows about you that matters. In Psalm 37 verse 28 it is written, For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed.

The offspring of the wicked will perish. My brothers and sisters in Christ, God's righteous justice is for all mankind, but man's justice is selective to their interests and agendas. It is not who you know that matters because God knows everything about you and that is what counts.

In Romans 14 verse 10 to 12 it is written, You then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. It is written, As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me. Every tongue will acknowledge God.

So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. Heavenly Father, we come to you seeking strength from the Holy Spirit to walk in obedience, truth, and love, prioritizing spiritual growth over worldly desires. Lord, remove every distraction that will lead us on the wrong road and give us the strength to stand on your words, your principles, and your morals.

Give us the wisdom to make decisions that reflect your love and grace rather than the ways of the world.

All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
