Lord, give us patience

Today's Devotion, Lord, give us patience. The closer you get to God is the further you will draw from sin. Desperate situations calls for consistent prayers.

You cannot use Satan's strategies and expect to win God's war. Because the cleaner your hands are, the more powerful your prayers will be. A mind that is set on earthly things may overlook your heavenly blessings.

Even though evil is not good, people who do not have the patience to wait on the Lord will be drawn to it. The devil knows your strength, that is why he will always attack your weakness. Where there is sea, there will always be pirates.

And where there is a crowd, you will always find thieves. The weaker the prey, the easier the meal. And the harder our trials, the more difficult it will be for us to hold on to our faith.

Desperation will make you panic, but faith will allow you to have patience. God works on his own time, and this is why it is important for us to have patience. Heavenly Father, testing times will always try to destroy our patience, especially when the bills are due and there is no money, and the pot is empty, and we have no food.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Better is the end of a thing than its beginning. And the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

God cannot lie, and he will never put you to shame. Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. Lord, give us patience in these challenging times, so we will have our faith strengthened by your word.

All these we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.
