Take Limits off God
Today's Devotion, Take Limits off God. A friend of mine sent me a message and she shared a testimony with me and I decided to use it as this morning's devotion. She had been going through several challenges but in every challenge that she has gone through she put it to God in prayer. She had a debt of over a million dollars and she received a message on her phone to check her email.
After doing what she was told to do, she couldn't believe what she saw. It stated that her outstanding loan was cancelled and she can accept it as a gift. Do not put limits on God because he specializes in doing things that will appear to those who are spiritually blind as being impossible.
Where the doctors fail, God's miracles will prevail. Expect the unexpected with God. He will send destiny helpers and destiny connectors to you when you least expect it.
Never allow your worries to distract your worship. God will lead you where he wants you to be but you must be consistent in talking to him daily in order to see where he wants you to go. There may be times he will break your heart in order to break the chains that are holding you to the wrong people.
They will captivate you with sweet words and brainwash you with expensive gifts but always remember, expensive gifts doesn't always guarantee exclusive love. In Psalm 37 verse 4 it is written, Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he will give thee the desires of thine heart. Heavenly Father, many times you remove us from being around the wrong people to put us in the company of the right ones.
Thank you Lord for redirecting us because you saw things that we were too blind to see. Lord let us not put limits on you because we sometimes unknowingly place limits on ourselves because we ask you for good when you know we deserve better and you will delay us all because you know that we deserve the best. Thank you Lord for building our confidence so that we can always remain humble when you bless us in unbelievable ways so that you will take us to places that will blow our minds. Let us always develop an attitude of gratitude as we praise your name.
All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
