Today's Devotion, Align God's words with our action. There are some people who believe that once they go to church and know God's words, that is all that is required to defeat the enemy whenever they are going through spiritual warfare. The devil knows whether the authority of God is in your life.

Just speaking the name of Jesus and quoting God's words means nothing to demons if your lifestyle is the same as theirs. Train your mind to remember God whenever the devil is encouraging you to sin. In Ecclesiastics 12 verse 13 it is written, Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone's duty.

God didn't give us scripture to scare us, he gave us scripture to prepare us. Knowledge is power only when it is put into action. Ignorance is danger when you believe that it is okay to be born again and think it is okay to live a life where you can sin again.

Do not be persuaded by people who will encourage you to sin today and ask for forgiveness tomorrow. Because they will give you their advice but you will have to deal with the consequences of taking it. It is during times like these that you will have to exercise your faith.

Let your faith guide you and give you the wisdom to live a righteous life. Let your faith strengthen you during these challenging times and inspire you to keep going. Let God be in your mind so that you do the right thing.

Let God be in your eyes so that you know what to avoid and who to avoid. In Jeremiah 17 verse 5 it is written, Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. Heavenly Father, help us to be cemented in your words and cover us under the blood of Jesus.

Many are called but few are chosen. Many believe but few obey. Many want to walk away from sin but few are strong enough to do it.

Many have said that they will give their life to you tomorrow but they don't have a clue that their life is going to end today. Lord, help us to be more focused on feeding our spirit instead of our flesh because we know that you are pleased when we do what is right and just.

All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
