The Lord will guide and protect us

Today's Devotion, The Lord will guide and protect us. There will be times in life when we find ourselves in situations where we are in need of guidance.

It is through circumstances like these that we are able to build a closer relationship with God. This is why knowing His words are important and speaking back His words when we pray are necessary. In Isaiah 48 verse 17 it is written.

In Psalm 32 verse 8 it is written. My brothers and sisters in Christ, the Lord's guidance also comes with His protection. In 1 Peter 3 verses 12 to 14 it is written.

But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear.

Do not be frightened. It is necessary that we pray consistently and not conveniently. The Lord cannot be fooled and He cannot be used the way in which some of us will use people.

In Psalm 40 verse 11 it is written. Heavenly Father, we pray for those who are spiritually weak and those who are naïve who can be easily misled. Blessed is he who has regard for the weak.

The Lord delivers him in times of trouble. The Lord will protect him and preserve his life. He will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.

The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed. We thank you Lord for standing on your word. Lord we pray for those who have ended up in the wrong crowd because of bad choices.

Bad company can ruin good character and we call upon you Almighty Father to remove them the way that you see best. Thank you for your guidance and protection especially during these times of hardship so that those who are weak do not end up doing the wrong thing and expect to get the right results.

All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
