Today's Devotion, Our circumstances can change our lives. It's a good thing to tear down demonic altars, but it's a bad thing to tear down people with negative words, especially those persons who have fallen due to unforeseen circumstances and are trying to keep their head above water. He who boasts when the wind is blowing in his favor will cry when the storms of life begins to blow against him.

Pride goes as soon as poverty comes. And before you start to brag about your luxurious wooden house, always remember that termites are always in search of wood to eat. God has given us two hands and two legs, so regardless of how many cars you have, you can only drive one at a time.

God has given us eyes to help us to be observant of where we are going. He didn't give us eyes to judge others because of their dilemma. God has given us a mouth to worship and glorify him and also to communicate with others in a respectful way.

He didn't give us a mouth to criticize and be mischievous to others. God has given us hands to give a helping hand to those who are in need. He didn't give us hands to shed the blood of the innocent and steal.

God has given us ears to listen and help those who are on the verge of giving up. He didn't give us ears to hear what was never said in order to speak what was never spoken. My brothers and sisters in Christ, everything God has given us has its purpose.

Use them for the greater glory of the Lord. In Romans 16 verse 17 it is written, Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned and turn away from them. Do not be influenced by the pleasures of sin because pain with purpose is better than happiness that leads to our destruction.

Heavenly Father, our sins are too heavy to carry and they cannot be hidden. Help us to be mindful of the needs of others and prevent us from tearing them down when we should be lifting them up.

All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
