Today's Devotion, Have Faith in God. The same God who commands the stars and controls the oceans also holds your life in His hand. Trust Him. He is greater than anything you face.
The same God who told Moses to lift up his staff and stretch out his hand over the Red Sea. When Moses obeyed, the Lord sent a strong wind that blew all night to divide the waters and turn the sea into dry ground for the Israelites to cross. Do not doubt Him.
The same God who told Noah to build the ark to save him, his family, and the pair of all land animals from a catastrophic global flood because of wickedness, corruption, and violence among His people. Fear Him. Whatever you may be going through and how herculean your situation may be, God can do anything.
In Mark 10 verse 27 it is written, Jesus looked down at them and said, With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God. Do not focus on your problem.
All you need to do is to have faith in God who is your problem solver. My brothers and sisters in Christ, do not allow your situation to cause depression because the devil has a way of letting you lose your hope and he will influence you to commit suicide by using a rope. Financial challenges, mental health problems, relationship troubles, family-related issues, hurdles that you may be trying to get over by yourself at your workplace, and you have not seeked help from God.
Whatever obstacles you may be experiencing, stop hiding your burdens. The enemy will use spiritual warfare to try and destroy your life, but God has given us His words to fix it. For those who are using iniquity to ruin your life, God is in control.
Heavenly Father, in Psalm 35 verse 1 to 8 it is written, Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me. Fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me. Say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul.
Let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hearth. Let them be as a shaft before the wind, and let the angel of the Lord chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery, and let the angel of the Lord persecute them.
For with those cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which with those cause they have digged for my soul. Let destruction come upon them at unawares, and let his net that he hath hid catch himself. Into that very destruction let him fall.
All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
