Do not neglect your dreams
Today's Devotion, Do not neglect your dreams. When you have a dream and in it you are indulging in wrong or sinful actions, never take it for granted and the first thing that you should do is to pray against it. Understanding dreams that are sexually immoral, evil, violent or anything that is against godly principles should never be ignored.
The devil will find ways to distract you and you may forget to pray. Stop worrying about your dream because worrying has never destroyed the plans of the enemy. In 2 Timothy 1 verse 7 it is written, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
If you should have a dream that you are around a witch or you are in the presence of evildoers, it has several meanings, evil spirits, slander, gossip, witchcraft, worldly church, and rebellion. In 1 Samuel 15 verse 23 it is written, For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, 2 Corinthians 6 verse 14 cautions against being unequally yoked, contrasting fellowship between light and darkness. God speaks to us through colors in our dreams and he can also speak to us through numbers. If you should have a dream and you should see pink around you, it has several meanings, flesh, sensual, immoral, chaste.
In 2 Corinthians 11 verse 2 it is written, For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy, for I have exposed you to one husband that I may present you a chaste virgin to Christ. If you should dream about the number 2, it has several meanings, divide, separate, judge, discern. In 1 Kings 3 verse 25 to 26 it is written, And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.
Then spake the woman whose living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son. And she said, O my Lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slate. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it.
Heavenly Father, many times you speak to us through dreams and we end up gambling instead of praying to you and asking you for clarity. Help us Lord to pray and seek guidance because our lack of knowledge can cause us to unknowingly open doors instead of praying and closing the portals with the blood of Jesus.
All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
