Give God Your Problems

Today's Devotion, Give God Your Problems. Stop holding on to relationships that's going nowhere because a dead-end street will never take you to the highway of happiness. Stay in the lane of humility because the fast lane of pride may cause you to backslide. Problems will always be a part of our life and it is how we deal with them that makes our lives better or bitter.

Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines. Our problems can take us closer to God and our problems can lead us closer to the devil. Be careful of who you tell your problems and who you take advice from because it can cause a sinning man to stop praying and a praying man to stop sinning.

God has a way of letting us see someone else's problems so that we can thank him for the problems that we have. Because the man who had no shoes thought he had a problem until he saw the man who had no feet. Stay low-key, not everyone needs to know everything about you.

We must trust God during our circumstances and ask him to send the right person to speak to because if you don't seek God's intervention, the devil will send the gossiper, the slanderer, the busybody and the whisperer. In Proverbs 21 verse 23 it is written, Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles. And in Psalm 42 verse 7 it is written, Deep calls to deep.

At the roar of your waterfall all your breakers and your waves have gone over me. My brothers and sisters in Christ, God never asks us to understand, he asks us to obey and glorify him as we do so. He asks us to be mission-minded and to look at every situation as an opportunity to serve or evangelize.

Heavenly Father, Our blessings come in many forms and sometimes we assume that money can fix all our problems. Lord, open our eyes, especially those who are spiritually blind because it is you that can fix all our problems and you deserve all the glory. Lord, you said in your word, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Lord, we thank you for your guidance and your mercy because all things work together for good to those who trust you.

All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
