Lord help us with our dreams.

Today's devotion, Lord help us with our dreams. Without proper application, correct interpretation is difficult. For us to determine what a dream is about, there are some things that may apply to us and there are some things that may apply to someone else.

If you had a dream that you are on a dead end street and you are with someone else, it may be a message for you or the person. This is why it is very important to seek God's guidance for interpretation. If you should have a dream about a dead end road or street, here are some of its meanings.

Stop, repent, no advancement possible, a point at which you must review the way you are going or what you are doing and make the necessary changes in direction. It can also refer to certain failure. In Haggai 1 verse 5 to 6 it is written, Now this is what the Lord Almighty says, Give careful thought to your ways.

You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill.

You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages only to put them in a purse with holes in it. If you should have a dream and you have keys or you have been given keys, it means knowledge, authority, wisdom, understanding, ability.

Important, in Luke 11 verse 52 it is written, Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourself have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering. If you should dream about knives, it means words, revelation, truth, sharp or angry rebuke, accusations or gossip.

In Psalm 52 verse 2 it is written, You who practice deceit, your tongue plots destruction. It is like a sharpened razor, and in Titus 1 verse 13 it is written, This saying is true, therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of dreams.

We thank you for giving us the power to retain them, so that we can remember every detail about them. Thank you for giving us the spirit of discernment and understanding, so that we can do your work by helping others who are in need of interpretation.

All these we ask, in Jesus name, Amen.
