Do not ignore your dreams

Today's devotion, Do not ignore your dreams. Dreams are ways in which God speaks to us and this is why we should never take them for granted. There are simple things that can change a dream's meaning.

If you are in a dream and you're in water, there is a significant difference if the water is clean or the water is dirty. In Proverbs 18 verse 4 it is written, the words of a man's mouth are as deep waters and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook. Troubled water means healing, worry and sorrow.

When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you. Your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burned.

The hard trials that come will not hurt you. If you should dream about jumping off a cliff, it has several interpretations. Taking a leap of faith, release from the past, loss of control and surrender and trust.

This means trusting you can handle the outcome even if it is risky. The devil tempted Jesus by urging him to jump from the highest point of the temple in Jerusalem. The devil quoted Psalm 91 to suggest divine protection and Jesus responded with Deuteronomy 6 verse 16, do not put the Lord your God to the test as you did at Massah.

In Exodus 17 verse 7 it is written, and he called the place Massah and Meribah because the Israelites quarreled and because they tested the Lord saying, is the Lord among us or not? My brothers and sisters in Christ, if you should dream that you are under attack by frogs, this means witchcraft, curse, demons, casting a spell. In Psalm 78 verse 45 it is written, he sent swarms of flies that devoured them and frogs that devastated them. Never turn a blind eye to your dream because if you do not pray against it, it will eventually become your reality.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for communicating with us on a regular basis especially during the night when we are not distracted. Lord, thank you for using dreams as a way to warn us and protect us from the plots and plans of the enemy. I decree that every evil dream or attack is nullified by the blood of Jesus.

I trust in your plan and give you all the glory for the blessings that come. In Jesus name, thank you for helping us to interpret our dreams and thank you for your guidance and also the spirit of discernment.
