Today's Devotion, Ungodly achievements comes with a consequence. God does not accept or approve of aggressive, violent, or hateful behavior. Conflicts doesn't need anger to be resolved.
All it needs is mutual understanding. Some people are more eager to show respect to the elite than to those who are underprivileged. I have seen someone give a man of unsound mind money to buy something.
He returned with what he was told to buy, and he gave the person the change that was left. Yet there are people with a sound mind who will borrow your hard-earned money, and they will know that they owe you, yet they will avoid you like a plague, just to avoid repaying you. In life, we must never look down on others because there are honest people who get embezzled, and this may cause them to be mentally unstable.
We will see the success of others, but we will never know what they have done to become successful. God sees everything, and he knows everything, and there are times, because of lack of knowledge, we may look down on the right person and look up to the wrong person. Robbing people to get rich, using evil to hinder the achievements of others, and doing ungodly things to God's people comes with a serious consequence.
It's easy to judge others when you don't know their story, but God will expose them when they least expect it. In Proverbs 11 verse 21 it is written, Be sure of this, the wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free. And in Isaiah 28 verse 15 it is written, Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol, we have an agreement, when the overwhelming whip passes through it will not come to us.
For we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter. Heavenly Father, we pray for those who have been robbed because of wicked people. O Lord, rescue them from evil people, protect them from those who are violent, who plot evil in their hearts and stir up trouble all day.
Lord, heal those who are mentally affected, and we thank you for restoring what the enemy has stolen and removed people from our lives who are hateful and spiteful. Lord, cover us under the blood of Jesus and destroy the plans of the wicked. All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
