Today's Devotion, Prayer using God's words to destroy the enemy. Heavenly Father, I surrender all to you. God, you said in your word in Romans 12 verse 19, Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath.
For it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord. Lord, I call upon you to send forth your warring angels to protect me against the plans of the enemy. For the good that I have done for them, they have repaid me with evil.
I will not fight evil with evil, but instead I will praise you and seek your intervention to fight against the workers of iniquity and those whose aim is to do wickedness to me, as they try to destroy my life. But try as they might, they will not succeed. In Psalm 91 verse 9 to 10 it is written, Because thou hast made the Lord which is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation.
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. And in Proverbs 26 verse 27 it is written, Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein, and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him. Lord, you sealed the mouths of the lion to protect Daniel, and you parted the Red Sea for Moses and the Israelites to cross, and destroyed the pursuing Egyptian army.
Lord, we do not fear what the enemy will do. We will fear you when we see what you have done to them. In Psalm 3 verse 7 it is written, O Lord, save me, O my God, for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheekbone, thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
In Zechariah 10 verse 5 it is written, Together they will be like warriors in battle, trampling their enemy into the mud of the streets. They will fight because the Lord is with them, and they will put the enemy horsemen to shame. Heavenly Father, I come before you knowing that you are my strength and my shield.
We come against every monitoring spirit used by the enemy, and we seek your intervention to destroy them with brimstone and fire in Jesus' name. I ask you to dismantle every strategy of the evil one in whatever form it may take. In Deuteronomy 20 verse 4 it is written, For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give victory.
Lord, help those who are on the brink of their breakthrough. No matter what power the enemy manifests, God is greater because there is nothing that you cannot do. Thank you, Lord, for protecting and destroying every plan of the enemy.
All these we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.
