Challenges come in different ways


Today's Devotion, Challenges come in different ways. Consequence teaches us unforgettable lessons as soon as regret comes into the picture. The love that makes us happy can give us sleepless nights once it is given to the wrong person because the person who loves too much is the one who gets hurt the most.


The man who sees trouble coming and goes to meet it isn't wise, but the man who sees trouble coming and avoids it is exercising wisdom. If you can't find time to help someone who is in need, do not be surprised when someone doesn't help you when you are in need. Old age doesn't always come with wisdom because some people lack knowledge due to the fact that they are set in their ways.


Crabs in a barrel will always unite as long as none of them tries to get out of it. Some people come in your life for a reason and some for a season. Never leave a selfish man with your pot because you may see the pot but you may never see the food because desperation can ruin your reputation.


Where there is jealousy, you will find insecurity and where there is insecurity, you will never find trust. An opportunist's main objective is to find someone they can benefit from, not someone who can benefit from them. Not because someone got a good funeral, that doesn't mean that they are going to a good place.


The Bible warns us about the things that we will encounter in the world. Life isn't a bed of roses because wherever you see roses, you will always find thorns. In Philippians 4 verse 12 to 13 it is written, I know what it is to be in need and I know what it is to have plenty.


I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation. Whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want, I can do all things through him who gives me strength. And in Psalm 34 verse 19 it is written, the righteous person may have many troubles but the Lord delivers him from them all.


Heavenly Father, you are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Lord, you have given us authority to overcome all kinds of evil. Help us during our times of challenges when everything seems to be turning against us.


Whatever our problems may be, there is nothing that you cannot fix. Thank you Lord for healing those who are sick and helping those who are homeless. And whatever our situation may be, you promised that you will never leave us nor forsake us.


All these we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
